Should be interesting ... next year maybe

A cheeky taunt or two only serves to heighten the prospect of the enticing battle between the pair at Le Mans this weekend – and the ‘display’ in this video conducted by the Audi R18 e-tron Quattro outside Porsche’s Stuttgart HQ is far from subtle. But some aficionados will also have noticed the more discreet gibe shown on the trip there, when the Audi blazes past a Porsche tractor with ease. Roll on Saturday... Video: Audi

The #14 P919 starts from first row and (in laptimes) can almost keep up with the Toyotas. The audi's are further back, but have always been real reliable, so if the Porsches are reliable, they're actually in with a chance...

Very clever & made me laugh.
Lets see what the weekend brings, is it too much to hope for?
Not looked yet but does anyone know which site is covering it? Last year I had a Euro site for the images & Radio LeMans for the sound, worked quite well.

Sorry for the late reply; you probably already found a site but I'm watching from here:

          Thanks Patrick
Was watching on Le Man tv but seems there is a delay compared to Daily motion. the sun is just starting to come up. Ah, the memories of being there, just fantastic. 919 #20 in second.
Keep switching to Radio Le Mans for sound, much more informative.

Seems like the Audis still have it with an hour or two to go . . .

Still 9 hours to go........ Not over till its over. Porsche looking very good at this stage for first outing for a while. Real chance of a podium. Pity about the #7 Toyota lead for all laps from the start until it retired with electrical problems.

Great race to watch. The Hybrids offer so much extra grunt on demand. Porsche also has shown that they they are prepared and have reliability.

Yep, Mark Webber about to move into P2, 7 hours 51 still to go.

                    Cheers,

                        I'm a bit dissapointed the P919s can't keep up with the Audi's.
In the previous races, as well as in qualifying they were quicker - about the same as the Toyota's.

The second Audi is reeling in the Porsche (still in 2nd spot) and as always they're incredibly reliable too so I'm doubtful Porsche can prevent a Audi one-two.
But having said that, for a 1st year, they're doing awesome sofar!

amazing how 4th place can be 10 laps behind the leader!

Audi #1 car looks like it's toast!!
