I received an invitation to a cocktail event at the Brisbane OPC for the launch of the new 918 in April. I expect that this will be well after the similar events in Sydney and Melbourne. I also suspect that no test drives will be allowed with the display car ....

Great night with all the edible and drinkable trimmings laid on by Porsche Australia. Lots of cashed up folk there, but no 918's available ... Car sounded terrific.
There was a great Carerra GT there however.
My wife had a great time getting in the car - not so easy for some of the larger triers.Comment
