Not too Sure About Patina 911 or 912!

Current Hayburner magazine arrived this week, featuring a heavily patined 912 with large type 4 motor. My head says no, but heart says hell yeah!

    Passing fad?

In US might describe it as a 'survivor'

It works .. Cool car as found or enhanced - big motor - what's not to like...m walker has been pitching cars based on an 'indifferent ' attitude to the aesthetics of the day.

Just another way to enjoy the car

Or this baby got some elevated blood pressure a few years ago

            Really ?

front wheels look ridiculous buried deep inside the guards.

Sorry, way too much of a rat for my liking.

I like the green car but the blue one is a little over the top for me……must be getting old!

Not into slamming, camber & tucking

Green one is nice. Any more pics?

The blue one is horrible. That one needs to be saved. Poor thing.

Attached is the article from Hayburner, hoping it's readable! Since I'm coping pages directly from Hayburner - quick plug!

Hayburner is a free magazine - UK based, 4 issues a year - I thinks it's 25 pounds for subscription for postage to Australia! Highly recommend to anyone into aircooled vehicles.

                    Love it...
Almost wish mine hadn't been painted over the Irish green patina years back. Ah well.

This works for me re: an alternative stance, though not patina paint work...
