Intl Shipping from Aus - WTF?

I'm looking to ship two engine fans & housings to Mark Motshagen in CA and just got some hideous quotes for international shipping. Luckily I was sitting down.

Can anybody recommend an international shipper who doesn't charge more than an arm and a leg?

I thought so too Craig, but they were just as bad as the others.
I googled cheap shipping and came up with interparcel.com.
My parcel is now awaiting pickup this arvo, and is being shipped via UPS for $140. That's less than half of what as DHL/FEDEX etc quoted.

As per usual, it pays (saves) to shop around.

Can't wait to get my shiny new looking fans back now...
