Grille Badge fixing hardware

Hi members,

I have bulk purchased the required S/S hardware to attach the new grille badges to your 911 engine grille.

I have obtained 4 x 25mm SS socket head capscrews with large SS washers and SS Nyloc nuts. the large flat washers work well to hold the badge in place, but could be substituted with a rectangular flat plate if you are concerned about any damage to the underside if the grille and want to spread the load.

You need 2 or each and the cost to club members is $4.00 total including postage and handling within Australia (sorry Chuck).


If you buy these items individually its a least double the cost. The Socket heads and Nyloc nuts make it virtually impossible for someone to steal your 901 register badge off the rear grille.

Pls post if you need this hardware kit. You can pay using Paypal too.

if you order a new badge, add $4.00 to the purchase price and it will be included.

I will bring along a few sets with me on next Sundays run so members can buy htem COD.

For others, pls pay directly to the Registers bank account if you want to use EFT (as given in the newsletter handout sheet re membership renewal.).

I'll like a set too - in fact, I'm about to get the Early911S badge too - I assume this would work for that badge too?

Erwin, the early S badge already has two threads attached to the badge (welded on). It comes with washers and nuts as well (all in brass I think).

Pls ensure you have paid the register's A/C and email me and I will either post it to you or hand deliver.

Dont worry, I bought more than enough to cover all badges made so far plus enough for the next batch. They look nice and neat on the badge and are reasonably tamper proof.

Badges cost $45 (incl postage I think) Arrange purchase through Clyde and if you want the Phil's SS bolts etc. for fixin' to car , add $4.

I sent out an email this week which said they cost $5, you should have got that email let me know if you didn't as it means something is amiss, however it was wrong anyway. They are $45 which includes postage and an extra $4 if you want the fitting kit Phil is talking about.

You can add that to the cheque you are sending me or the register has a Paypal facility send to clyde@the-boyers.biz
