                Those cars are owned by Rent a Classic Car in Nice. They have a snice 73S Targa, a couple of SL's and an old Mog as well.
                Great place Porsche and open top motoring county.
                www.rentaclassiccar.com for a full list of cars on offer.
                A great way to get around the Cote D'Azur

                  That is sensational. Does anybody know of / can recommend a similar outfit in California? Need to be in the US for work and holidays in October / November.

                    pebble beach

                    I'm heading to pebble beach early August pondering hiring a classic and doing the LA to San Francisco drive any suggestions for good classic car hire company?

                      Gus there are probably a few classic car hire places in LA but to yanks that probably means Mustangs and Corvettes.

                      Not sure if you could get some euro classics or if they would let you drive them too far out of town ?

                      You could try calling Paul Kramer at AutoKennel - an early S and R Gruppe guy and ask him if he knows of any companies who could help;
