I see a New Zealand excursion along similar lines to the 356 guys' Carrera Downunder...

I'd love to get my car over there... from all of the descriptions I've heard they are wonderful... North and South Island.

Definitely one of those things I must do before I shuffle off the mortal coil!

Justin - Christchurch - Tekapo - Wanaka would be a fantastic run.

That is a great idea - a ferry across to NZ for a cross-country run... wow...

that sounds like a fantastic idea. Would it be feasible if we planned ahead?
What would be the issues with Oz registration?

            The 356 Register did it...

There was a considerable amount of planning involved... there was insurance and registration that needed sorting, and the shipping component wasn't cheap but those that went thoroughly enjoyed themselves...

I can ask one of the fellows I know that went.

What's the approximate cost for such a run?
