    Hi Phil

I was thinking that too. I think it was listed late Friday and by the fact it hasn't been marked as sold my assumption would be no.

Has anyone called about this car?

    Cheers
    Adam

I see a lot of heavily disguised , altered updated backdated and modified beyond belief cars offered for sale. One has to ask a simple question case by case that basically looks at why and I think you will find any many cases that when the cars had little value and they were smashed, badly damaged or simply rusted to the extreme they became candidates for marriages of whatever panels wer available cheaply. I think that is why one of the critical must do's when looking at blue chip cars which is what we own is history and provenence, unless you just want a cheap entry level car.

It may be a LHD conversion, interior switches are U.S.

Missing the two most important photos: chassis number and engine number!

Crazy thing is that, at the moment, if the chassis number and engine number are good then you could probably spend $150k bringing it back to mint and make a profit on sale!!

Just sad - that's all. Anything can be done, but this one would need a lot of imagination and money

Looks to me like it has already received significant amounts of both imagination and money.

Like to see you spend only $150k to bring that back to mint!!!!

Well a good 2.4S could be a $250k - $300k proposition now if you believe the auctions . . . so you could spend $200k and still breakeven

                            In theory . . .

I am sure you mean pounds don't you Nick otherwise find me all the 2.4S cars you can at that price and I will buy them.

I think cars have increased in value 20% in the past 2 mths its madness na dcan't be sustained

Michel I think $400+ to someone who must have it....they don't come much better in retsored category but of course original would be better.
