Heads up - relatively cheap 73E

    Check this out:

    http://www.carsales.com.au/pls/carsa...8&model_id=356

Imported from France - RHD - are French cars RHD or was this converted from LHD?

Asking for $49,500 which is not bad for a 73 2.4E.

Not to hijack, but you would almost recpoup the costs of this one with the sale of

          Engine
          Recaros
          tank and wheels

how about a group buy!!!! -

Looks like a perfect car for a Scottish Essendon supporter.

Pity about the relocated 911E engine lid badge and missing Porsche lettering but this can be replaced easy enough.

Jason, as you have worked on the car, what is the conversion like ? Done properly ??

Any comments about how the car drives, etc ?

Any Qld memebrs seen this car or could report back to the group on it ?

sorry to take so long to reply . the conversion is pretty good remember it was done a long time ago.the reason the engine lid is not right is cause it came with a rubber carrera looking ugly tail and we swapped that and the 6'' cookie cutters it was delivered with for 6'' fuchs it did have plastic tank but that was changed over for a steel one in all its not a bad car the white paint is flaking off in spots it is in need of a repaint some time soon .the motor felt very stong and went very well it had a brand new clutch fitted just before the old owner sold it .its a good car but needs motor spent and price is just what he paid for it . it just depends if red trim with recycled bag pipe insert and factory magenta (pink) is you bag. cheers jason
