    Door hinge pin removal?

Anyone in SEQ have a tool I can borrow to remove door hinge pins? Or any suggestions other than hitting things with heavy objects?

You can get a cheap slide hammer and have a head milled to slot over the head of the pin just like the factory tool....

I used a number of long punches, but I was replacing my pins, and rebushing the hinges.....

Mitchell I have some excellent long Sidchrome punches of different sizes that will do the job, I know from experience. You are welcome to pick them up. Or I can bring them in to work any day this week.

Is Grinder the brand of a hydraulic press?

Hard to explain but the holes in the hinge where the hinge bolts to the car had been drilled out anyway but even then boy oh boy were those pins not keen to come out! Even with hydraulic press one bent rather than be pushed out from hinge.
