Clyde, strangely enough and no offence to any G series early cars out there, the decals for people who now a little bit about these cars will define what it actually is.....

To me I think they are worth a small cost to define a large difference!

Hard decision & you can't go wrong on either but I'm voting on the clean look. I don't think the script works that well on a Targa. Maybe because the Targa roofline isn't as free flowing as the coupes & there is less color due to the black roof and Targa bar.

That's one vote each way. Anyone else want to weigh in with a tie breaker?

yeah I am for the script, i think it makes sure it does not get to look like a normal SC etc. my 2c worth

Love the car Clyde - I think you should definately go with the script... If you want something different, below is a pic of another '74 Carrera - apparently this was a factory option.

                  Beautiful job

I like Nicks idea, a bit more subtle. Therefore yes, or half yes.

How do you vote on this here thingy ???

Andrew just click on the yes or no at the very top of the thread and hit vote now

My personal preferance is to put it back on and the current votin 11/2 matches my view.

The car also was delivered with either a ducktail or standard Carrera rear tail but no one can tell me which. Should start another poll: should I put a tail back on it. I did acquire a genuine 74 Carrera tail and rubber lip NOS with the car but I like the clean look at the back on the Targa body shape.

                          Clyde,

Go with the ducktail... but not a whale tail. They look all wrong on a Targa.

No stripes... the g series are stealthy and subtle.... a big punch in a silk glove.

I always preferred DB's 2.7 Carrera Targa with no stripe and no tail... but Brooks ignored me in terms of the last element
