    Title required

In the course of selling a vehicle overseas the buyer requires a title.

I have no title and for that matter no registration documents, as the car had not seen the road for many years and was effectively sold to me as a parts car.

I have been able to get the original import information from Harry at PCA, however apart from having that, and the car having its chassis and engine number, I have no ownership information.

    Any help or info appreciated.

I have written to NEVDIS and they were of no assistance.

As above. If you've got receipt in your name, if you have original import info and bonafides aside from also getting JP/legal docs drawn I'd speak with Mark Hocking, or someone similar who is regularly importing exporting cars

I'm bound to find myself in this position with my US delivered '68... It's had at least 3 owners since imported 20 years ago and never been registered.

I have had to fill out bill of sale, some sort of DMV declaration and include
photographs and actual signatures to help get a very of title for my old 68S which I sent back home

I had an old USA title for the car but I wasn't listed obviously so it meant nothing but it does depend on which state if the USA is involved as they all have different rules

                    Cheers

That's why Bill of Sale is a useful thing and I recall that in the US there is property tax and cars, even collectors cars, can be included and the holder of the title levied.
