993 wiper conversion

While I'm still cutting and welding the shell of my car I'm thinking about grafting in a section of 993 windscreen wiper cowl ala Singer.
Has anyone seen this mod in the flesh, or got any warnings / recommendations for me.

Look at chris jury's restomod project amongst others. There's also a project local to me that's doing this and also a semi space frame 993 rear suspension conversion.
