Blower fan

Does anyone have a suggestion for replacement fan other than stumping up $US150-ish for a new one (or at least the electric motor)?

Brushes and brush carrier are melted, can't see anyone that sells parts. It's for my 71 and is the later motor.

Give it to an auto electrician... The motor parts won't be Porsche specific and it's likely a pro will be able to replace the bearings and/or brushes which are the usual suspects.

Look on eBay, I found one for 60 bucks I think.
