I haven't moved Merv - Still recall the Healey Factory selling a RHD in the $40's

They really have dried up - With good reason

I just love the simplicity of them

      Having had two Healey 100/4's if I don't find a 912 I'll go back to a Healey

I saw a really nice black one last Sunday. They have strong futures and are a good car to drive.

I had first option (or so I thought ) on a very original '69 912 (LWB) which I was interested in earlier this year, owned by a woman in Melbourne . She was unsure whether or not to sell at the time but promised to give me first refusal. I didn't push the issue as she'd owned the car for many years and had a strong sentimental attachment to it.
Unfortunately found out this week, through a third party, that the car is now sold.
          ..........guess I wasn't pushy enough

              Peter,

The same happened to me. I learnt to drive in a 912 and tracked the actual car that had been in pieces in a shed for many years. I contacted the owners regularly for over ten years who said I would have first option if he ever sold it. To my surprise he then sold it with out ever contacting me to a random person who gave him a "great offer" which turned out to be about 20% under the market. In the end everyone but the random buyer lost and the car has fallen off the radar again....

              Cheers
