Glovebox

Hi Guys

Just after confirmation of correct glovebox door for my 71e

The one I have has the lock hole in the centre and when removed had traces of the original Bahia Red on it which leads me to think is the original one.

My confusion is that I came across this one stating it was from a 71e.

Any words of wisdom greatly appreciated

I think the style pictured is from late '69 production so good for a 70MY car Ash.

No it is as in the pic you posted up until 1972 year model

Errm sorry Clyde. My old '71 and Peter Williams '71 both have the centre knob style.

I'd suggest the change happened early in the 70MY when the style of door handle and key changed, as the key profile for the doors is the same as the glove box.
