    Importing from the UK

Given that the UK is crumbling I expect a flood of cars headed this way.... hehe

My serious question is does anyone have any recommendations on the best (by best I mean easiest) way to import to Aus from the UK.

Not a self import or relocation or anything fancy or complicated, just a old car purchased from a gent in the UK and shipped to Aust.

Any names, company recommendations or experiences welcomed.

    Cheers
    Tom

          I'm guessing Merv meant Ecurie?

I have noticed this site but know nothing about their expertise etc: http://www.cargoonline.com.au/index....playCampaignAU

This company is also mentioned a lot on DDK as being very efficient and cost effective:
Kingstown Shipping are an international shipper of cars, motorcycles, RVs, trailers, caravans, boats and general freight, specialising in the USA / UK / USA trade since 1986. We have continually developed our company to offer the wide range of freight forwarding services available to our clients today.

                Tom,

John Glynn would be very handy - he owns and runs Ferdinand Magazine.... he's very knowledgeable about whats around and who is reputable to deal with, whether the car is too dear etc etc.

Once you acquire a car - I can give you the name of a few customs agents who specialise in cars .... that I have used during my career as Supply Chain / Logistics Manager in the car industry.
