    1971 Radio

    Hi Guys

I have an incomplete blaupunkt Newyorker (s) radio that I am hoping to use but has no faceplate or knobs.

Could someone with a 71 or thereabouts post a photo so I can see what the bits I am after look like.

    cheers
    Ash

Would be a B or C series, I believe Ash.

Very similar but has a blue dot on the front
When installed do they have a faceplate or do the knobs and screen part just come through the dash fascia

Search on the Pelican Forums Ash. There are lots of posts there. Also Ol Timer Radio http://www.oldautoradio.com

On the later models (71) I believe they have a face plate. Anyway do some searching on the Pelican, Old Timer Radio and Radio Museum. The Blue dot ones were quite common.

This is from my 72 if it helps at all. US delivered. Not sure of the radio model if anyone can help out (short of pulling it out and reading the back)

Thanks for the photo Chris that's what I want as after I can see the knobs I need and looks like I'm also missing the chrome trim from the frontline
