Badges on 1973 911E

Should the 911E and PORSCHE letters on the rear be Silver or Black for a 73E?

My recollection is black including the surrounds of the tail lights indicators etc

Anodized black. Over time and with heat from the engine they do get a shade of purple.

Is anybody aware of / has used someone who does black anodising? Preference is onshore.
