    Under Cover of Darkness

Bullet run from Port Mac to an undisclosed location outside of Brisbane and I have my new Tilta trailer and 68 in my garage

Big thanks to NTG, Jim Cairns (and Bob), and Tom Laube for helping me out so much with logistics, loading the car, and pointing it in the right direction I literally bolted up after work, connected the trailer and bolted back over the border to home.

Get to do it all again next month for the 69

How does the single axle tilta tow John?

Amazingly well Paul. I mustn't forget the green car is sans interior and drivetrain so only about 400kg - so a combined weight of no more than 750kg wringing wet this trip. But the trailer was very easy to use, and particularly easy to manoeuvre into the garage (especially easy with gojacks).

I'll be doing the blue car next. It's just under 1000kg and needs to go on backwards (engine to front of trailer). That'll be the test. But several members here and racing GroupS have these 911/trailer combos and all have given the thumbs up.

Alas not Jeff (but I do have beach ). That is the 'undisclosed location' of Bris member NTG's place. Lots of fruit kept there (including my blue car), so I won't say where exactly. But it's a beautiful spot to the west of Brisbane and everything I want

Thanks Mick. It's Viper Green... The car is actually another original Ossi Blue car like my 69, but I don't want two the same colour, and currently there are no Viper Green cars running in Group S. It's a bad paint job commissioned by the former owner, but perfect for a race car.

I thought about it for 5 seconds, but I really wanted to be home before lunch this morning...

Now that I have the trailer I might do the odd Byron Coffee and Cars - it's only 5 hours away

after I posted I looked again at the trees etc and suspected it was NTG's place

I assume you have bought something? in town? I'll be in Foster for a few days next month so might try and catch up on the way through if it works out.

We've bought at Lighthouse Beach. Definitely let me know if you're about.
