    What do you think?

I've got this set of Cibies languishing in my shed that need to get mounted, It's not that I'm scared of drills! But I keep changing my mind as to their location. Presently I think bonnet is favored, what do you guys think, hood or fender??

I thought that a country boy would want them mounted on the roof - good for when you go spot lighting.

.............or maybe on the rear, just in case you only spin 180° rather than your normal 360°.

That was in a previous WB Ute driving phase. Something like this without the Bling!

Hood/bonnet. Can you video tape the process so we can see the concentration on your face as the drill comes in contact with the car.

              Michael,
I would go for the fender..I have heard that they twist the bonnet eventually...dont know for sure but I also like the fender mount asthetically as well...look great either way.

Fender mount is factory option for a road car. Hood mount is more ST/rally. Do you want to actually use them or just for the look ?

Either position you need to drill holes. but fender is definitely more strucral and less prone to movement or flex (at speed).

fender for sure - there is something a little more menacing in my view on the sides......

...so Alex does that mean you'd put one on a fender and one on the bonnet - that'd be unique

For what it is worth, i vote the hood. Suits the race look of the car, and the fender look crowds out the lines of the wings.

I have owned cars with them in both places so i well placved to comment.

My original 73 E Tourist delivery car had them on the fender and wired into the headlights at the factory so they came on with high beam.

I thought they ruined the shape of the car at the front as they stick out a little and as you know I have a 69S that has them mounted on the hood and I much prefer that look but I prefer them in body colour Michael even thogh mine are black currently they won't stay that way for long.
