So any buyers on this board have a few more facts to work with if they want to negotiate with the seller.
If that's you, then your $50 membership fee has been well and truly worth it.
Please also call Mike at Spyder as he has plenty more background and has worked on the car.sigpicPhil Lack

The "original" engine that is mentioned in the ad is for a 72E sporto car (6229xxxx) 2 for 72 and for E and 9 for sporto while the car is obviously a 73 (apart from all the non 73 items like horn grills, front side lights, rear lights, badging at and engine grill? Etc). I think I would be checking the production number :-( although it is hard to tell from those photos. If this one is worth $100k I hate to think what mine would be worth :-)
I would proceed with caution on the car sales car, at best you get to return it to a 73E Sporto which has less appeal than its manual counterpart.Clyde Boyer

Yes for now I've ventured into the world of the impact bumper. A 3.2 wasn't on my list when I started looking to get back into a 911 (I was originally looking for a rough but original 901 project, or a very sorted 912), but the one I have just secured was too good to pass up. It wasn't advertised.
It's an 85 MY (last of the leaded / before the HP drop), Aus delivered, all matching, books, all receipts, tools, all original. Grand Prix white with blue leather. Very 80's...
The car hasn't been altered and it's in great condition apart from the odd stone chip here and there. Some of the original factory delivery stickers are still on it and it even came with a bottle of 1985 porsche window cleaner! Part of the delivery kit I imagine...Damian Royce

Damian, is there a previous owner in the books with the surname Nardone? The car sounds identical to the very first 911 I ever drove back in 1991 around Morwell...John Forcier
