Yeah, I'm not sure that anyone would notice the conversion on my / Clyde's old car.

At the time I bought the car there was a 10-15% price difference between Nev's UK 72T (which I missed out on purchasing) and my car.

I'm going to go on a bit of a rant as the discussions around the "value" of these cars of late I find a bit annoying.

I always thought that Porsche's were for driving and enjoying (Ferraris are for wrapping in cotton wool and hoping) and I bought mine because I'd wanted one since I was a kid and one of the best things I've done in years was to drive my car from Melbourne to QLD and back again and I'm going to keep on driving it.

I got a good car for a good price within my budget (thanks Clyde), perfect!

    Cheers,

    Harry.

Well said! And seeing your car at Noosa and then pics of your trip home will inspire me to do the same. #nogaragequeen 👍

6000k a year, and I still feel that I don't use it enough.

I'm looking forward most (and not very far) to the problem "which Porsche will I muck around with today in my retirement"

The wee beige jobby has a history in Australia. I researched buying it and received full and frank info from the then owner who was excellent and very straight up.

The Australian TYP 901 register is forum for enthusiasts who pay homage to this remarkable machine.

Any prospective buyers, please do your due diligence. Research whether the rust was genuinely removed and removed thoroughly, and by who. If it's been done right there will be no issues. In hind sight it was a bargain at $15k
