Yeah nothing but bad news from Porsche you should have seen the reincarnated part....not even close even though the original part numbers had not changed. I am going to aPorschapart this Friday to find you the correct switch, I hope, but trust me if they don't have one I will come good via my USA or European buddies

I'm missing one too....Clyde, expertise req'd pls mate

            Clyde

Whilst you're brandising your switch expertise, I've been missing the following switch for the 16 years I've owned SA119.......

            No idea where it went....
No idea what is does (it's the one next to it that activates the Hella 128 Foglamps) and the car's original issue LHD manual is no help either

It has a screw on thread and pulls out one click (obligatory non-mechanic technical term) and it's missing the trim piece that surrounds the chrome fixture, too.

Any help in sourcing one (and/or advice on what it does) would be G O L D !.

            Cheers mate

            Stew.

              Hey Clyde/Cam,
I've just acquired a euro rear demister switch, big rubber with red "grill" decal in the plastic, part # 902.613.511.91.
Someone one earlyS mentioned that the Euro/ROW switches just had the rubber boot put on them for US delivery, so levered it off & what do you know, they were correct! Bang, Euro switch.
I looked a bit closer at the part # label & could just see the shadow of another number, carefully & only partiallly removed the top sticker to reveal....... 901.613.504.01!!

BINGO it's even the correct part number.:p
the only problem is that it's missing the silver collar/nut to hold it in the dash So if anyone has a spare.....

Hope this helps with the search.

Stewart want to try a pic I can see!!!!

Cam, aPorschapart didn't have what I thought they had or what they thought they had so I will go to plan C now and call in the artillary form O/S

Nice find Michael but thats a switch for an early car (69) but should still do the trick for you anyway. The end cap should screw off and you just screw the euro one on.

Guys, TNT damaged my MY69 only Hazard switch when moving it down from Townsville a couple of years back.

If in you "switch searching", if you happen to come by a 69 hazard switch, could you please think of me? I really only need the bakelight toggle and the black screw collar - the switch itself is undamaged.

                  Cheers
                  John

                    Got One!!!!

Managed to track a NOS two stage switch down in the US.

The bloke has another, if anyone needs one I can put you in touch.

                    Not cheap though, cough!

Clyde thanks for your efforts in trying to track one down.
