would have to double check, but pretty sure my car was built early august '69...

    and it's definitely a MY70...

From everything I’’ve read it’’s a MY70. As I was after a ‘69 car and this one was built Sept ‘69 I got it through on a technicality! Best of both worlds maybe.. (queue Van Halen) :-)

Well done it is far easier to find parts than for a 69.

I am hoping it doesn't secretly qualify for this thread though.

I'm sure it was very hard for Scott to part with this car.

Yes, I’m quite sure. But I’ve promised to look after her and bring her back in much the same way he had planned. A more tops bloke I’ve not met..

Thank you Gavin. Very kind words indeed. It has been a really difficult decision to let my 2.2 go; but sometimes life throws a curved ball that is not expected and that's what I am facing. The main thing is I am very glad to have found the right person to take over the car's care. It will be an absolute treat to see it side by side with the 993 at your place!

Welcome Gav .... THIS is why you want a '69.... no further explanation needed.

The 911 T was the most stripped-down model in the range, and arguably the most pleasurable experience because of it. No excessive luxuries or functionality t...
