is the left to right conversion giveaway in the door panel arm rests?

It's the only thing I can spot.

I've put a US 'passenger' armrest/door pull on my original RHD car - it's a great addition.

Additionally, the 911S badge on the glovebox lid is placed a'la LHD.

Call me stupid, but what's the difference with the arm rests that you have spotted ???

The 45 degree angled handgrip left the factory on the passenger side. Therefore, in a factory RHD car, the LH inner door panel will have the angled handgrip and the RH inner door will not and vice versa. On a converted car, if the handgrips have not been changed, the driver will end up with a hand grip and the passenger will miss out! I just confused myself... RH LHD LH RHD etc.

?? Same position as on my original "T". Were "S"s different?

                      Stupid

btw, if you weren't aware of the difference in armrests, how did you pick it as conversion from LH to RH?

                        OK

What told you it was converted? I didn't think it was until you mentioned it, so I must be more stoopid

unless they have been changed - only the passenger side door has a handle coming up out of the armrest.

the driver's side only has the armrest - presumably to allow more room for steering wheel wrangling.

oh - and the owner told andy it was converted

I'd sooner pay that price if it was still lhd. I think the conversion has devalued it. What do others think?

                              A matching S is a matching S... $70-80k only gets you a great T or E...
