Apparently the story is this: owner is an Aussie living in New York. Thought he was coming back so had Autohaus hard at work getting the car ready. Employer just convinced him to stay on in NYC for another ~5 years so car now has to go.
True, it will always be a re-creation/replica, but in terms of dollars sunk it's good value. Suspect a Ron Newman paint job alone is $20k ($30k?!) proposition.

I also went there today it is a $119k price tag , looks as though the body / panel / paint is first class , however the interior is certainly not a $119 k car thats is for sure , engine / drive chain looked well done.
This was also there not priced yet and arguably the best S 69/73.... 2.2s
