    1973 RS replica - $200k at CTS

    VIN: 9111200678

I think this might be the project Autohaus has been working on based on a 1971E? If so it was only just finished so surprising it is being sold.

Ambitious price for a modified 71E... 'cause that's what it is.

$119k makes a lot more sense than $199k . . . but with CTS you never know!!

Very nice... Would've thought they could have replaced the basket weave trim on the dash... The glovebox still has the 911E badge indentation on it !

Yes ad says buy it for about half the build cost of $200k so199K makes no sense and 199 isn't half of 200!!!

Yep for such detail and price you would expect excellence...and while unintentional I kind of like the ghost script as a reminder of its origins

James at Autohaus confirmed that this is the project they have been working on.

Seems bizarre that someone would spend 1-2 years and $200k on this car and then sell the thing. I guess personal circumstances can change . . . .

Apparently the story is this: owner is an Aussie living in New York. Thought he was coming back so had Autohaus hard at work getting the car ready. Employer just convinced him to stay on in NYC for another ~5 years so car now has to go.

True, it will always be a re-creation/replica, but in terms of dollars sunk it's good value. Suspect a Ron Newman paint job alone is $20k ($30k?!) proposition.

I also went there today it is a $119k price tag , looks as though the body / panel / paint is first class , however the interior is certainly not a $119 k car thats is for sure , engine / drive chain looked well done.

This was also there not priced yet and arguably the best S 69/73.... 2.2s
