Make sure you choose the Fedex international economy option for the Sierra Madre wheels.

The Sierra Madre wheels are deep 6 not flat.

And yep, they're all cast not forged.

When I click on the link to go to the Magro website things start to unravel.
I actually bought mine from Pierside Parts in Huntington Beach. Shipping was a lot cheaper. They only came in a fully polished finish, so I had them painted by Sasha at Deluxwho did an awesome job on them.

No repro is going to look exactly like the real deal. The Flat-4 4.5" and 5.5" Fuchs are closer to OG than the deep sixes which typically have flatter petals regardless of the brand. I'll post some other pics of the set I had when I get a chance.

This guy has just started advertising on Samba.

I think they're OEM, not original?

The flat four deep six's repro's are avalible in Australia through some of the VW aftermarket dealers .
I posted a thread on here years ago about them and they were about $1600 au in Australia ( Sydney I think ) .
I will see if I can find it .
              Cheers Doug

                    Thanks Clyde,
I just this weekend purchased a set for $3k USD - recently refurbed by Al Reed.
                    Early with hearts.
Hoping they'll be okay when they arrive ... will post here.
                    Cheers,
                    Ben.

That's a good deal Ben. I paid $3500 for 4 and then sent them (with another 2 I found) to Al Reed where they are nearing completion. Unless he sold them to you.

                        Hi Tim.

I bought mine from a guy in Hawaii of all places. A lot of VW guys on Oahu!

He had a set of 5.5's and a set of 6's and had Al restore them all a year ago.
They arrived last week and they look great, although polished and not correct factory / anodised finish.

My car has 5 x 5.5 date stamped chromes from the factory, so I'm okay with running the Fuchs being non factory finish, for a bit of fun.

Shipping from Hawaii can be very difficult - if anyone ever needs a contact for logistics in that region let me know and I can assist.

                        Ben.

You'll have to post some photos of them on your car Ben.
