I thought I'd share some pics of a new car of mine. I'm quite a fan of the 911SC, as they're a great mix of old and new. Big lazy motor, (sort of) good aircon, a few creature comforts, and a nice simple look, particularly without the big tails of the day...
So I was pretty happy when this low mileage 78 Aussie delivered SC was offered to me.
It was sold through Hamilton's South Yarra and is a black on black coupé with factory aircon (since upgraded), sunroof, and best of all, Black Watch tartan seat inserts.
I picked the car up in Sydney last Friday (thanks to Cavaco Motors who did the PPI), and drove it home to Brisbane via Thunderbolt's Way. I've always wanted to do that run, and it didn't disappoint. And the car didn't miss a beat, despite being used less than frequently over the last number of years.
Here's a few pics of the car. (Incidentally I bought a car a few years back that had been repainted black and had a private plate of 911-BLK. After many years sitting in the shed, I was finally able to dust it off an use it!)
