DSLR Cameras

I have recently bouight a Canon 450D kit with two lenses. I am very pleased with the camera, a bit smaller and lighter than the 50D or the professional 5D and 1D model. The mistake I made was to waste money on the lenses that come with the kit. I would have been better off to have done more research on lenses and bought the body only and then added a single higher quality lens.

any idea which lens you'd get?

A faster lens around f1.8. I do some architectural photography so a 10-22mm wide angle zoom and I would also need a more general purpose lens.

... I'm now getting toey about SLRs so I'll be interested to hear how you go.

The new camera is the Canon EOS 50D and 24-70mm f2.8 L lens.

It's stuck under the Christmas tree, so I can't wait...
