    I still think you're reading too much into it Rich. Ring one of the quality tow places and ask for them to come and quote. They will have dollies capable to moving the cars/APC

      John & Chris both speak truth.

      Moving the car on flat tyres should not usually cause damage to the rims, more so if nothing has bound and all turns freely..

      Having been involved in the movement and prep for display of large technology objects for museums ( think G for George size) having a set of dollies and or frames that use wheels and screw jacks are indispensable if you need to regularly move heavy vehicles about.

        Lots of tow trucks have dollies/go-jacks for moving cars stuck in gear etc so fairly common job where avoiding damage is important. I can't see them harming the rims, the tyres will still provide protection even if they are flat and split etc. Just expect to pay extra for additional equipment.
