Dirk, how big a deal is fuel economy in making your decision on which car ?

I agree Phil. The wagons are a great buy at the moment. Spoke to my Merc man at the auctions yesterday and he also suggest the CLS 'brake.

Must agree I am very fond of a good wagon, just appears that the tow ball weight will be an issue (that is where I have managed to find this detail online). Need to start some conversations with dealers.

While I enjoy a road trip marveling at the efficiency being achieved truth of the matter is that my wife's car manages 12000k a year and even if we managed to get on the road at every available opportunity it was be quite a stretch to get this anyware near 18 or 20000k.
