    The model cabinet

I'd been so good lately, having bought hardly anything for six odd months until I saw the 67/68 swb set.....and the 919....... Oh and the Sebring winning 907.

    For your viewing pleasure.

And don't be afraid to share your pics of your model collection irrespective of its size.

Would look good with a framed photo of your car on the track on top, Justin!

I'll send those ones I promised over for you to have a look at.

Is that a Beta video machine that it's resting on

Fairly crude compared to others but beggars can't be choosers.

That's a nice little dinky collection and all, but why don't you stop with all that poodle-faking stuff and get a proper model like this one.

Seriously though, your collection looks really neat.

Here's a few shots of my Porsche model and memorabilia display in my office at work.

I have a variety of models , grill badges, metal postcards & plaques mostly all Porsche related. My son is itching to get these left to him in my Will. Should be worth something in a few decades, if I hold on that long.

I bought 2 glass display cases from IKEA some time ago which may still be available - not sure, but they work well as display cases for these models. Could do with a few more shelves though.

Chris, I really love that London-Sydney 911 model you have. Where did you get it from ? I bet Ian Henderson would like one of those, unless he already has one (after having owned a real one !).

No garage required.... park it in the driveway and keep the neighbors guessing!

OK, who's thinking they can buy this model, build a space frame chassis and drop in some sort of 911 powerplant and transaxle and turn up at the next PCV track day and blitz them all ?

Wonder if the LED headlights work ?

I bought 5 of the Fuji kit years ago - 911R and RS variants. Great little kit. I've done one so far of the blue car, but need to 'update' it to current specs I'll do the green car once it's finished too.

For a while I was thinking at least this is a cheaper hobby than restoring/preserving the real thing, but now I'm not so sure. This is beginning to look like a chronic disease.
