After tucking the yellow 73E away following todays run I had a spare 1.5 hrs and took to the rear LHS rear wheel well on the Alfa with a spare brush and some degreaser.
Seems to have come up OK without much effort at all.Last edited by Terminator; 22-05-16, 09:47 PM.Clyde Boyer

Interesting saga chasing the original rego plates
Found they were unavailable and after asking some questions and looking at paperwork I had re swapping plates to personalised I found they were put on retention in Bendigo by owner #2 in 2006.
Vic Roads advise I need their permission to acquire slight problem he and his wife are both deceased.
Vic Roads advise I need next of kin approval only one child and so far even with using a detective cannot locate.
Vic Roads are adament can't have them without approval...it's crazy!!Clyde Boyer

Yes Merv, have driven it a little.
As Alfas go this is as tight and as nice a one to drive that I have ever driven and I have owned a few. Starts immediately, gear change is fabulous, suspension is tight and compliant and it revs quickly to the red line, just doesn't go very fast in reality.
There is absolutely no comparasin to a 73 911 other than to say no wonder Porsche was and is so reverred as a true sportscar of the early 70's.Clyde Boyer
