went and did the John Bowe "Drive to Survive" day on monday. was a great experience.

aside from the theory (which is pretty logical), the practical stuff was quite fun and an eye opener. all of it was pretty low speed stuff (braking from 60kph, braking and swerving etc) - although after each go the instructor kept telling me to add 5kph to my approach speed to make it more challenging...

well worth it... next is the high speed course.

      Nice one Rich

Is this just for fun or are you after your national Rally Licence...

Well worth doing at any rate. Its intersting when someone is sitting next to you pushing you to go harder & faster!

ha! i think i'll start out with the high speed course and hopefully the driver ed day at winton... then we'll see about philip island 6hr. that's about as serious as i plan to get at this stage.

hoping to get the car painted this year (probably next year at this rate though) - better to kill the orange road cones before the paint is made nice.
