Less cars, the better IMHO, especially for a "full bodied" run in the hills!

Personally I think any more than 7 cars is cumbersome on a 'spirited' run.

I'm not a starter for this one - have fun!

I emailed the run sheet to all Vic members last Monday. If anyone didn't receive one please advise me with your preferred email address.

              Run sheet

              Hey Pistol Pete
I haven't received the run sheet. I'll just meet you guys at the servo before the Westgate per Clydes comments.
              More exciting than Christmas!
              Cheers

Hi Guys went to Melb today and there was a sign saying 3 lanes on the WestGate outbound closed to 9AM due to resurfacing. May want to head in a slightly different direction at the start.

Another terrific run today in perfect Melbourne Autumn weather on great roads that we last drove in 2010 (was it that long ago?). Thanks to Clyde for organising the run (on relatively short notice). We had 6 Porsches and one BMW (Clyde).
I've attached some photos of the day - but the best photo which I missed was when I was entering Melbourne at dawn from the east along Monash Freeway. As I crested the rise over Punt Road prior to entering the tunnel I was presented with a panorama of the sports precinct and the city with 6 hotair balloons hovering above the buildings....brought a tear to my eye.

As Peter said the entry into Melbourne was postcard perfect, 6 air balloons and fog lifting with the sun starting to rise. Roland missed the turn off and we all waved to him at Todd Rd. Great run, no fines that I know of thanks to the weatherman, Clyde and Peter. Car didn't miss a beat.

Saw you Neville, as I was heading out to work this afternoon, heading through Greensborough, towards Eltham.

Thanks again gents. Another great day.
My intriguing moment was not watching the hot air balloons Pete - it was watching a 5 series saloon drift around corners.

Either the corners were too sharp or I was going too fast or both.

Comment of the day from Neville "gee that 912 goes pretty darn well". It should with that powerplant stuffed in the back.
