Shell servo 8.15/8.30 - i'm reliably informed its on Epping Rd in the section by-passed by the tunnel, just after Sam Johnson Way and before Mowbray Rd when heading west.

I'm a no.... and the run will be unofficial.... no insurance (unless you've been able to arrange a CAMS permit) so please be sensible.

I know its not the 6/9 BUT
New right turn lane from Epping Road to Mowbray Road West
A new right turn lane from Epping Road westbound to Mowbray Road West,
Lane Cove, will commence on the morning of Wednesday 13 September.
Motorists will need to be in the right lane on Epping Road westbound after
passing the Shell service station to access the new right turn lane.
To ensure they are able to properly access the lane, motorists should move to
the right lane well before arriving at the intersection.
The new lane will be separated from the westbound lanes of Epping Road by
        barriers.
Some minor lane changes will also occur on the westbound lanes of Epping
Road on approach to the Mowbray Road West intersection.
Signs will be used to advise motorists. The speed limit on Epping Road in this
        area is 60km/h.
The changes are associated with construction of the western portal of the
        Lane Cove Tunnel.

Ryan, well organised. A quick coffee run to the 'Ferry and back was a great idea. There was plenty of 'fathers day' time left when I got home.
              Nice to meet all.....

              cheers,

                Happy with the gear ratios?

                  yep, very happy.

the longer first doesn't seem to have harmed acc'n off the line and it now shifts to 2nd at a higher rpm. i think 1st will also be a better hairpin gear now.

however, the biggest improvement is the new 3rd to 5th. acc'n is noticably improved in all gears, and the motor is well into the power band at all shifts. i think the new 3rd and 4th in particular will be very useful rally gears.
