    Dennis,

#1 car above chassis# 911 030 1138 so looks like a 1970 S, but the engine # doesn't make sense 614083 seems there is a digit missing. It gets confusing because it's stated that the car is original, only safety mods have been carried out i.e. belts, fueltank etc., yet engine capacity is 2494cc which would make it a 1972 spec.
    275hp-930kg wow!

According to the website below the weight difference was closer to 50kgs! (in 1968 anyway...)

According to the owners manual, in '71 my T weighed 1020kp frm the factory (assume this is the same as kg). What's your manual say for the S?

        Cam,
The '70 brochure says 1020 kg for the T and E but 930 kg for the S - this would be for the l/w ST for homologation purposes and not the normal road car.
The front of the brochure has the three white 911s with the rhs one being a l/w.
The '71 brochure says 1020 kg for all three - so take your pick.
The spec book for '69,'70 and '71 says 1020kg for all models and does not differentiate between years.
John S - I suspect the '70 ST would not have originally had such large flares as the homologated wheels were not as wide as the 2.5 which I think the No 1 car is.

        Cheers,
        Dennis.
