A bit of tin worm to attend to.

Has had a shunt at the rear which is getting sorted.

Hi Robin. Thanks the for the posts - I am following your resto with much interest.

                    I've got a 66 912 as well. Aust delivered.

Question: Is your dash made of a plastic type material and was it held down by 5 chromed screws (in addition to the two front bolts)?

                    cheers

Not sure how original my dash is - been out of the car for a long time during rebuild - I will pull it out and take a look.

Hi All - a question - this is almost ready for paint. Does anyone have a good guide for the internal paint. Where to apply stone guard, body colour, black paint? Mine was not original paint so looking to get it back to original.

Did I say "light resto"!!!! year and a half in metal work and paint. Keen to get this back and start putting it back together.

                              Robin,
912 looks great and looking forward to seeing it back together. I took my Polo Red 912 for its first big 2 1/2 hour post lockdown run on the weekend, after a "light restoration". When you finish and drive it you hopefully will forget the time and cost to get it back on the streets.

Robin - did you make the fatal mistake of saying......."it's not urgent"?
