    hey craig,

i've been in contact with that guy for months. basically, the car isn't running but he thinks it is an easy fix. i suggested he get it running so it could be driven to a port. he says he will but this doesn't seem to occur. getting it warranted (WOF warranty of fitness) in NZ is like getting a road worthy certificate over here.

Sounds dodgey, would think that he would do whatever was required to secure a deal if he was serious about selling, he wouldn't need to get it 'warranted' if it were heading over here.

        craig,

try and buy an old motorbike some time. about half are advertised as "only needs a battery and some carb cleaner". then the ad will describe how perfectly they ran xx months/years ago.

why not splurge on that battery before trying to sell???

          Ryan,

You have probable seen this and it may be a bit expensive, but not much work req'd for a backdate.
Colour is a bit polarising though.
