I reckon the Kumho's are heaps better in the wet than the DO1J's, which feel like slicks!

i agree with alex in that they seem to come up to temp more quickly and are much less sensitive to pressure than the dunlops. considering tyre pressures on a rally are checked maybe once or twice a day i think they are worth running for that reason alone.
i use dunlops on the 69E and a couple of pounds makes a huge difference to the grip level. really hard to get them right.

I'm running the V70a's as rally tyres, Medium on the front hard on the rear, I think. I still have to check. They were great at Adelaide (including in the wet) last year and I just finished them off on the weekend. Not bad, 1 rally and approx 8 track days! You can tell by the following codes: K20 Soft, K60 Medium and K 90 Hard.
The V700's are for track and they come in medium compound only. NT swears they are 2-4 secs faster than the above. Can't wait until hey are back in stock!Attached Files

I've run the V700 for the past few years and am a big fan. They are road legal, but only for the time it takes to get one track day in... after that they just look like the V710 and will stand out to Mr Plod.John Forcier

Hmm, reading the site indicates the V700 aren't legal to drive to track days...John Forcier
