Thanks John also on early S in th wrong for sale section was an ad for LHS and RHS for just $110 plus the dreaded shipping so I have gambled and bought both of them.

Got it fixed today thanks Cees.

Bought a 2nd hand regulator which was part of the problem the other part was the adjustment at the pivot in the regulator which changes the glass angle, this worked much better on the new regulator and with a bit of trial and error now I have a happy drivers side window again. Another thing off the list.

$75 plus a can of silicone spray and about 15 hrs of frustration at $150 an hour!!!

Next problem is the wiper motor and that may prove to be just as excruciating if not more so.
