Unfortunately I sold the ducktail in 1982 for $150.

Wheels on the ground now a steering wheel in place heaving been recovered.

Yes I know I need to take it off again to install the clam shells

Another unique thing about this car is that it was delivered from the factory with the indicator switch on the right. Its even mentioned on the cardex.

Perfect date 9/68 wheel and correct leather trim 400mm wheel for an S car.

Re done by Gary Blackman as old leather was harder than a rock and becoming unstitched.

Yes when I checked out the cardex it said that, so I removed the clam shells and the wiring was all wrong as someone had switched them back (as you might expect) at some stage.

            Apparently common for UK deliveries.

When I put them back where they were supposed to be all the wiring fell neatly into place again.

I never even considered that it may have been done pre delivery... my '72E was on the right and I changed it back

If all the above cars were optioned with the indicator stalk on the RHS it's another interesting change to our RHD cars, that the factory apparently made as an option.

You never stop learning about these cars do you?
