Chuck,
this is a well sorted car. Guy is a nice bloke, spoke to him at the Island Historic meeting.
Well put together car, and has the same minilights that Marcus will have (and me later on) in about a weeks time.

The fellow who originally built the car lives south of Sydney... In fact I bought my Arbarth exhaust off him.

He had restored a 64 or 65 car... and painted it grey. When he was doing this project he had plenty of the paint left, liked it and had it painted....

This car is 69/70 I think.

He didn't use the car much (his health declined). and onsold to a chap in Melbourne.

Happy to report he's ok now, and has just completed the restoration of a 356B.

Chuck, here's a pic of his trailer. we spoke to the owner and he was in the midst of a 5 week long race campaign with the car. Tough life eh ?

Also posted a pic of one of my all time favourite car in the car park on Saturday - Daytona ferrari. Real brute of a car.

That is Garry Blackman's Ferrari I think. His is that colour, and I am sure that it is the number plate
Garry is the trimmer - does great work if anyone needs stuff done.
The 69 911 (grey) that was at Winton is looked after by Mark Poole, and because of his 5 week race fixture, my car is on the back burner!!! Damn him!!

BTW - They drive like'a truck until you 'get'm on their toes' ... then WATCH OUT !!!! ... 8)
