Some shots of the LH side of the engine bay (plastic cover removed) and the battery boxes.
Excuse the coatings of fish oil, which in the photos looks remarkably like rust.

Yes, both filled with plastic plugs. Must be for something not standard on a 'T'

these holes are possibly to mount the fuel filter used in MFI cars which is located in this area.

I would guess porsche stamp the holes in the body so it can be used for an MFI motor as well.

Just a guess....
