    Smaller main jets Rob?

Thanks for the feedback Rob. Did you have Paul do the IDTPs from your 69's original engine - or were they a different set all together?

        Chris

I have played around with jets and emulsion tubes on the dyno and the rich midrange is a constant.

I bought a second hand pair of 40 carbs in the USA and had them sent straight to Paul - not sure which they were, but checked with Paul beforehand and he said he could modify them to what I needed, including upgrading them to 46mm.

Michael at Promotive cracked the 2.0L case... Unlike Harry's 2.4 engine, this one was not stored well. Apparently quite salvageable with a clean up - though there is a possible problem with corrosion in the left cam tower/cam shaft. But the engine will be getting S cams anyway, so I'm not too worried.

Now at Port Macquarie. Beautiful place. Every chance this car may be for sale once finished to finance a boat

Just adding a photo and 'self-bumping' to keep pressure on myself to finish!

Yep. Garage is quite large and takes the car on the 5m trailer comfortably. Bonus is the back stud wall can be taken out and an additional slab laid behind the main slab to give me tandem depth It was in the original house plans, but was never completed. And that's the project for later in the year So hopefully I'll have room for 4 cars plus workshop space under the house.

Very likely Merv. But leaning towards more of a Scotch cellar
