Just remember if Andrew "Snorky" Vilder is staying, that everyone had better bring earplugs - Just ask Marcus and Roger from Mt Buller!!!! Sorry Andrew

    I resemble that remark!

    However, three things need clarifying.

    1. You weren't there.
    2. No one got any sleep anyway because of the constant stream of young lads hitting on the Red Bull girls in the room next door
    3. Roger is simply deflecting attention from his own behaviour.

            More News On Regularity Trial

            NEW EMAIL JUST RECVD:

            Dear Club members,

            Hi All,

Here are the supp regs for a new type of event – a 6 Hour Regularity Run for teams around
the Phillip Island race track on October 1st.

For those who aren’t at the Australian Motorkhana Championship in Queensland that weekend,
it gives a lot of track time in a safer environment than a race – overtaking is not allowed
at some points on the circuit – with lower vehicle and driver requirements than a race. The
minimum lap time would make very fast cars unsuitable unless driven with restraint. Check
out the attached supp regs for details.

This event is intended to be a transition between lap dashes and racing and is aimed at
people who do not have a racing licence (as well as those who do). The CAMS licence
requirement is an L2SJ or higher. Those who have an L2NS licence will be able to upgrade
their licence by paying the difference - not the full amount.
The event is two day - practise on Saturday -and the organisers are planning to offer
Observed Licence tests (i.e. racing licence test) for free. There will be a lecture/driver's
briefing on Saturday to make sure all the newies (& oldies) understand the rules. Team
members need to be aware that they are committing to a two day event.
We need to sort out who is interested in running and who is interested in managing teams
soon. Expressions of interest would be welcome at michael_holloway@hotmail.com as soon as
possible to facilitate event planning. As I believe interest will be great and teams are
limited to 30 teams of max. 6 drivers per team, we need to get entries in soon.

            Cheers,

            Janis Holloway.

that can be organised!!! How far does the 901 budget go... we could make the cover of Autoweek and other magazines should we have them on board. If memory serves me correct there is a website that has grid girls for hire!!!! I think Marcus showed me

Either way, I am sure we would have to keep it hush hush, otherwise the real girls (our wives and girlfriends) would completely crack it... unless we had them prancing around in their bikini's!!!!!! Yeah... fat chance!

If I got wife #2 to prance around in a Bikini she would clear all the garages and we could take our pick!
