    Trials and tribulations...

Update; on the eve of the 924 Rallye needing to be at the shippers in Brisbane for the trip to Sydney the K-Jetronic threw a wobbly and rendered it a non runner.....

As you'll know and fair enough too the shippers (Carways, who have been fantastic- I have a great contact in Melbourne if ever anyone needs personalised shipping) can't handle a non-runner.

So it's at this point the previous owner says to me "bugger it I'll load it on the trailer and bring it down myself...."

Legendary; give that bloke a rum-n-coke.

So if anyone's a master with K-Jet make yourself known to me in the tent !

    Cheers

    S

This was one of my favourite cars at Rennsport Stu! In fact it got me thinking that there was a red 924 lurking up here that I had seen some time back and that I should track it down to do something with a similar rally theme.

Sadly its pretty rusty around the rear hatch area and is also an auto so no go for that little project!

The previous owner hitched it up at Rennsport and it hasn't moved off the trailer since.

He's a pretty experienced chap and I wasn't about to get precious. no damage done- there's 2 spares secured in the boot anyway.....

Thanks John- that's a great bit of concurrent history. I appreciate you posting the shots - that looks like it was just prior to having all the bits refitted to do the Targa Tasmania sometime around then.
