I am curious, does the instrument dimmer still operate as normalwith the LED replacements?

Ash. I will take a couple of pics tomorrow and post them. Aus911. The dimmer does still operate but not as much - probably only a 20% reduction in the brightness of the LED's.

photos of my resprayed dash area around dials (+ dials painted as well) - all in Wurth satin black.

With all dials out, and the rest of the dash area taped up & covered, I simply rubbed existing metal area around dials the with steel wool (there was no rust or other issues), and then applied 3/4 light coats 2 hours apart.
